Justice of the Peace

The Justice of the Peace service is available to all customers and is free of charge.

The Justice of the Peace may witness documents such as affidavits and statutory declarations.

The JP’s are located in the main mall near Target and available to witness the following documents;
- Statutory declarations
- Affidavits
- Wills
- Power of Attorney, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Advance Health Directives
- Documents dealing with land titles
- Interstate Commonwealth and some international documents
- Documents giving consent to the marriage of a minor

PLEASE NOTE - This service will be closed Saturday 23 December and will return in the new year, Tuesday, 2 January 2024.

The Justice of the Peace service is available; 

  • Tuesday 10am - 1pm
  • Wednesday 10am - 1pm
  • Thursday 10am - 1pm
  • Friday 10am -1pm
  • Saturday 10am -1pm

Make sure you bring the following items with you when you visit the Justice of the Peace service;
- Drivers license or
- Medicare card or
- Passport or
- Proof of age card or
- Pension card

Please do not sign any documents before you visit a Justice of the Peace.
